Last week I modelled a 'questioning' lesson for Caitlin, Celeste and our student teachers to share a new approach to getting deep and purposeful inquiry questions out of students. I used a variety of methods, including
- keywords to statements
- statements to questions (using questioning matrix and blooms taxonomy)
After modelling this lesson, I then supported and team-taught R18/19 with Caitlin so she could put in practice what she had observed, whilst modelling to Olivia and Phil. This has been a great learning experience for me and my team. It is positive to see everyone keen to learn from each other, and for the students to see.
