School Disco

Attending the school disco and supporting the PTA.  This also gave me the opportunity to connect with students outside of the classroom.

Samoan Community Connection

Last week was Samoan Language Week.  Leading up to the week I was involved in a Whanau meeting where our Pasifika families were invited along to a Talanoa and talk about goals and connections.  From this, I was part of a small team working with a few key Samoan families to set up Samoan Language Week and a special assembly to celebrate Samoan Independence Day.
